Kitchen Renovation in Blackburn – Newfield Drive, Highercroft

This kitchen renovation on Newfield Drive in the Highercroft area of Blackburn involved a complete rip‑out of the old kitchen, followed by a full renovation to modernise the entire space. We carried out small electrical alterations, fully skimmed the walls and installed new ceiling lights to brighten the room. Fresh decorating was completed throughout, and we added extra kitchen units to give the customer much‑needed additional storage.

The floor was levelled with compound to correct uneven areas, then tiled to create a durable, modern finish. We also tiled the wall above the worktops to tie the whole design together. The customer was extremely happy with the result — especially as she was able to purchase a discounted kitchen through us.

After completing the kitchen, we later returned to renovate her bathroom [link here], which you can see in our bathroom section — it’s the one with the concealed boiler hidden behind a tiled cupboard door. With the new kitchen, bathroom and other improvements, the entire home now feels refreshed and modern.

As part of the wider renovation, we also skimmed the hallway ceiling, fitted new skirting boards and installed flooring throughout the downstairs, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality finish across the whole property
