This Blackburn kitchen project has a special story behind it. We first fitted a kitchen for this customer around 15 years ago. They kept our number all this time, and when they decided it was finally time for a full upgrade, they chose to come back to us.
It was a proud moment removing a kitchen we originally installed so many years earlier — a reminder of how long we’ve been trusted in Blackburn.
For the new installation, the customer wanted a brighter, more modern feel. We fitted new LED ceiling lights and refreshed the entire room with skimming and painting. We also added low‑wattage ambient lighting, perfect for leaving on in the evenings to create a warm, cosy atmosphere.
New internal doors were installed in both the kitchen and living area, giving the whole space a clean, updated look. The new flooring ties beautifully with the units and colour scheme, creating a warm, cohesive finish throughout the room.
Above the worktops, we used a small brick‑pattern tile — a popular choice that suits this older cottage‑style property perfectly.
And the story doesn’t end here. Soon we’ll be returning to replace the bathroom in the same house — the very bathroom we installed around 15 years ago. It’s always a pleasure to see long‑term customers return for another project.
