This kitchen renovation on Exeter Street in Blackburn was a full structural refresh designed to completely transform the space. We began by stripping the room back to bare brick, removing all old plaster so we could rebuild the walls properly and deal with any hidden issues before the new kitchen went in.
         The existing floor was uneven, so we applied a self‑levelling compound to create a solid, smooth base for the new finish. During the preparation work, we uncovered leaking pipes buried in the floor. To avoid future problems, we repaired the leaks and moved all pipework onto the walls, making it far easier to access and maintain in the future.
          Once the structural work was complete, we replastered the room, carried out full skimming and added fresh decoration to give the space a clean, modern feel. Around the worktops, we fitted stylish splash panels that tie in perfectly with the overall design. The kitchen was finished with ambient lighting and a new designer radiator, adding both comfort and a modern visual touch.
         The final result is a bright, modern and beautifully refreshed kitchen — a complete transformation for this Blackburn home.
